After reading many posts about how to disable this "thing" I settled on disconnecting the hood latch sensor on my 2024 XLE. Everyone said that it worked just fine and you could also disable the SS warning message on the display. As well as give you in indication on the dash of the hood being ajar. I say all these with no specific experience with the Alfa just with general knowledge of systems like this.
